The learning method can be used for both modules and lessons. See the video below for instructions on how to set this up:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Video Progression\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xc70V-i8_qA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You don&#8217;t have to use video progression in order to use videos for your course. Since SimplyLearn is built on WordPress you can embed any type of video anywhere within your content using the &#8220;video&#8221; block.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Video progression supports the following formats:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Vimeo (vimeo.com)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>YouTube (youtu.be or youtube.com)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wistia (wistia.com)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Amazon S3<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Local videos (uploaded to the WordPress Media Library<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:38px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-enable-video-progression\">How to enable video progression<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:16px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/simplylearn.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/How-to-use-vide-progression-01-1024x577.jpeg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:16px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Navigate to a lesson or topic edit screen in the admin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Video progression is found on the Settings tab, under Display &amp; Content Options<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toggle the switch to turn it on<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Configure your settings (which we&#8217;ll discuss below)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT:&nbsp;<\/strong>Video progression logic (i.e. auto-completion, completion delay and disabling mark complete button) will not be applied if you are logged in as Administrator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:24px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-adjust-the-position-of-your-video\">Adjust the position of your video<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When using video progression, the video will be positioned at the top of the module\/lesson. If you want to adjust the position of the video, for example, you want the video to display after the introduction text, then add this code to the position you want the video to display:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>[ld_video]<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:24px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-video-progression-settings\">Video progression settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In this section, this article will walk you through the variety of settings that you can select between.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:24px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-nar-videoen-skal-vises\">N\u00e5r videoen skal vises<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Denne innstillingen avgj\u00f8r n\u00e5r videoen din skal vises til brukeren, og hvordan man skal h\u00e5ndtere deltrinn knyttet til modulen\/leksjonen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>F\u00f8r fullf\u00f8rte del-trinn (standard)<\/strong>. The entire video must be watched in order to complete the lesson\/topic.&nbsp;<strong>NOTE:&nbsp;<\/strong>If the module\/lection has no lections or assignments associated, the video will be displayed upon page load.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The next 3 options only appear if you&#8217;ve chosen &#8220;After completing sub-steps.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:24px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/simplylearn.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/How-to-use-video-progression-02-1024x368.png\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:24px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Module\/lection Auto-completion.<\/strong>&nbsp;Enabling this option will automatically mark the lesson\/topic complete once the user has watched the entire video and automatically move the user to the next part of the course.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Completion Delay.<\/strong>&nbsp;This refers to the delay (in seconds) between when the video is finished and when the lesson\/topic is marked complete. Default is no delay (0 seconds)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mark Complete Button<\/strong>. By default, the &#8220;Mark Complete&#8221; button will be hidden, but this setting allows you to display it. Simply enable this setting to show the &#8220;Mark Complete&#8221; button<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:24px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-autostart-nbsp-nbsp\">Autostart &nbsp; &nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Enable this setting to have the video automatically start playing on page load.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to browser policies to prevent unwanted ads from playing automatically, videos with autoplay or autostart enabled will play&nbsp;<strong>with the volume muted<\/strong>. Since this is now the default behavior for most browsers,&nbsp;<strong>m<\/strong><strong>ake sure that the controls are enabled<\/strong>&nbsp;on your video so that your users will be able to unmute them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:24px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-video-controls-display-nbsp\">Video Controls Display &nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>By default, video controls are hidden from the user.
